Sustainability
Sustainability at Fyndl.
Doing business and acting responsibly must not exclude each other. As a comparison layer between refurbishers and buyers, we sit at a special leverage point: every purchase we redirect from new to refurbished avoids manufacturing a device that already exists. That leverage is our contribution, not offsetting.
Our leverage
How Fyndl makes consumption more sustainable.
- Refurbished-first search. Our ranking never pushes new products. Every result is a device that already exists. Reuse is the default, not a filter.
- Education over persuasion. Condition grades, warranty differences, and honest tradeoffs are explained openly, so buying used feels safe instead of risky.
- No inventory, no logistics. Fyndl holds no stock and ships no boxes. We add a comparison layer on top of existing sellers: no extra warehouses, no extra freight.
- Transparent rankings. Every recommendation shows why it ranked. No hidden placements, no pay-to-win slots that push unnecessary purchases.

The numbers behind reuse.
- 50M+ tonnes of e-waste are generated globally every year. Most of it is never recycled.
- 200-400 kg CO2 is what manufacturing a single new MacBook emits. A new iPhone adds roughly 70-80 kg.
- 2-5 extra years of useful life is what professional refurbishment typically gives a device.
What we don't claim
Honesty is part of sustainability.
Fyndl is a young product. We don't run offset programs, plant forests, or publish sustainability reports yet, and we won't pretend to. What we can promise today: our product only earns money when someone buys refurbished instead of new. As we grow, we will report transparently on our own footprint.
